Every activity in one booking system
You plan a bowling lane differently from an escape room, and a boat differently again from a quiz. Pick your activity and see how we handle it.
Most venues don't run just one activity. There's a bowling alley next to an escape room, a terrace with pétanque and a function room that hosts a company outing on Saturday. Each of those activities has its own logic: lanes you want to book side by side, rooms that need time to reset, karts in three sizes, deposits that aren't revenue. RaxBooker knows those differences and brings them into one calendar, one basket and one bill. Pick your activity below for the details.
Bowling and skittles
Lanes you book side by side, with shoes, bumpers and food and drink on the same bill.
Bowling
Lanes for four to six players, with shoe hire and bumpers as options at booking. RaxBooker automatically spreads a large group across lanes next to each other and lets guests extend while they are still playing.
Skittles
Nine-pin skittle alleys, usually hired out by the hour to a single party. The alley stays with that group until the hour is up, and the drinks that go with it sit on the same bill as the booking.
Duckpin bowling
Short lanes with light balls without finger holes, popular for children’s parties and shorter slots. They sit on the same planning board as your regular lanes, with their own slot length and rate, so you never sell them twice.
Darts
Oches by the hour for small parties, from a classic board to fully automatic scoring.
Darts
Oches by the hour for four to eight players, with a drinks package and often a regular league night. RaxBooker keeps those league nights out of the online calendar and sells the rest of the week per oche.
Interactive darts
Boards that score themselves and put the standings on a screen, sold per session or by the hour. You link the number of players to the rate, and at the desk you charge for what was actually played.
Golf
From eighteen holes to a single simulator bay: golf in every form that fits indoors or after dark.
Mini golf and adventure golf
Eighteen holes where you manage how many players tee off every fifteen minutes, not how many are inside. RaxBooker sells tee-off intervals with family and combo tickets, and keeps the course flowing on the busiest Saturday.
Interactive mini golf
A course where the target and the score are projected, with different game modes on the same holes. The guest picks the game mode when booking, and that choice sets the rate and the length of the time slot.
Glow golf
The same course under blacklight, with its own rate within a fixed evening window. Outside that window glow golf can’t be booked, and the regular course drops out of the offer as soon as the lights go off.
Golf simulator
Bays you hire out for two to four hours, with club hire and food and drink served in the bay. Guests can extend during the session, and the bay’s orders land on the same bill as the booking.
Escape and team challenges
One group per room, a fixed start time, and reset time between two bookings.
Escape room
Rooms for one group at a time, with start times spread across the game masters working that day. The reset time between two sessions is fixed in the schedule, and themes that share the same room block each other automatically.
VR escape room
Teams in a virtual room, with no set but with headsets and trackers as capacity. There is hygiene time for the headsets between two sessions, and because that time can’t be sold, it counts in the schedule.
Prison Island
Dozens of cells with challenges, where you book by team rather than by person. RaxBooker builds the teams itself from the number of participants and spreads them across that afternoon’s start times.
Laser tag and VR
Rounds and sessions where the equipment decides how many players you can really take.
Laser tag
Rounds of fifteen to twenty minutes in an arena, sold per player or booked out in full. The vests are your real capacity: if twenty of them work, you don’t sell a twenty-first place, not even over the phone.
Virtual reality
Pods, a free-roam arena and VR escape, all drawing from the same pool of equipment. A booking in the arena takes the headsets out of the pods, so you never sell two experiences on the same set of headsets.
Interactive floor and wall
Short sessions on a projected play area, with dozens of games of which the group picks a few. That choice is stored with the booking, so the system is ready when they walk in. Many of these bookings are children’s parties.
Karting and racing
Racing on time or on laps, with karts, simulators and bumper cars as capacity.
Karting and e-karting
Heats of ten to fifteen minutes, with single seats or the whole track booked out for a company outing. Karts per size are your capacity, driver details come in beforehand and the briefing is its own block in the schedule.
Sim racing and race events
Simulators you hire out per seat per hour, or in full for a race format over several heats. The format sets how many seats and how much time are needed, and RaxBooker turns that into one block in the calendar.
Bumper cars
Short rides in rounds, sold as credit or booked out for a whole group. Between two rounds there is time to get in and out, and that sits in the schedule, so you never sell rounds tighter than they actually run.
Table and bar games
Tables by the hour or by the game, usually next to the bar and often half full of walk-ins.
Pool, billiards and snooker
Tables by the hour, where half your guests reserve and the other half simply walk in. Reservations and walk-ins sit on the same table board, and at the desk you charge with start and stop on the actual playing time.
Shuffleboard
Tables by the hour for groups of four to ten, with digital scoring and usually a drinks package alongside. The food and drink that go with it sit on the same bill as the table, so your guests pay just once.
Sjoelen (Dutch shuffleboard)
Sjoelbak boards in half-hour slots, often sold as an add-on to a table or lane that is already booked. RaxBooker attaches that add-on to the existing booking, so it doesn’t become two separate reservations in your calendar.
Beer pong
Tables per game, with cups and balls you add to the bill as items. There is an 18+ version with alcohol and one without, and the age check happens at checkout rather than at the table.
Table football
Football tables in short slots, usually as an add-on to a nearby table or lane. They are rarely the reason for the visit, but they do get occupied, so they belong in the schedule and not in someone’s head.
Table tennis
Tables by the hour, often free with a drink but no less occupied for it. RaxBooker keeps them in the schedule even when there is no price attached, so you know how many are free when a group walks in.
Throwing and precision games
Throwing, shooting and rolling: lanes that often need an instructor or loose equipment.
Axe throwing
Fenced lanes that can only be booked when an instructor is on. RaxBooker links the lane to that instructor’s shift, so as soon as nobody is on the rota, the time slot disappears from the online offer.
Archery and shooting
Lanes with mandatory instruction and a waiver that the guest signs digitally beforehand. Without a signed waiver the booking isn’t complete, so your team isn’t standing at the desk with paperwork on the day itself.
Pétanque
Pistes by the hour, nearly always with a drinks package and nearly always outdoors. In bad weather you close the pistes in one action and booked guests get a message automatically, instead of you picking up the phone.
Cornhole and big sticks
Portable sets you link to a table or terrace spot rather than a fixed lane. The set travels with the booking, and because there are only a few of them, RaxBooker keeps track of which one is where.
Klootschieten (Dutch road bowling)
An outdoor programme with a host and equipment, sold per person with a minimum group size. RaxBooker refuses bookings below that minimum and keeps the host, the route and the equipment together as one block.
Fun curling
Portable lanes that only exist in the winter season and are packed away afterwards. You switch them on for a period rather than for good, so out of season they don’t exist online either.
Racket and field sports
Courts and pitches with member rates, fixed playing times and series across a whole season.
Tennis, squash and padel
Courts by the hour, with member rates and booking windows that differ per membership. Members book further ahead than guests, series run across a whole season, and a cancellation goes straight back on offer automatically.
Bungee football and subsoccer
Pitches with made-to-measure kit, where the harnesses and the supervision set the capacity just as much as the pitch itself. Sizes are entered at booking, so the right kit is ready when the group arrives.
Action and climbing parks
Time slots full of movement, with waivers, equipment and supervision in the schedule.
Trampoline park
One-hour time slots, with grip socks you sell in the basket and waivers signed in advance. Every time slot has its own maximum, so the park fills up without getting overcrowded.
Climbing and high ropes
Walls and courses where the instructors and the harnesses form a second capacity limit next to the wall itself. RaxBooker works with both, so a time slot closes even when the wall still has room but the supervision doesn’t.
Indoor play centre
Entry for children and adults, usually per part of the day and usually without a fixed spot. Party packages with a table, cake and a time slot sit on the same timeline as regular entry, so you can see when it really gets busy.
Roller skating
Sessions of two to three hours, with skate hire per size as separate stock alongside the places in the hall. Theme nights get their own rate and their own maximum, separate from a regular afternoon session.
Smash room
Short sessions in which a group smashes things up, with protective clothing included in the price. Cleaning up after a session sometimes takes longer than the session itself, and that time is fixed in the schedule instead of in someone’s diary.
Rental
Countable stock with variants, where charging time, deposits and paperwork shape the day.
Bike rental
Stock per size and per type, from city bike to cargo bike, hired out per half day or per day. The deposit is kept apart from your revenue in the books, and a bike that comes back late doesn’t quietly block the next rental.
E-chopper rental
Electric choppers for two, three or four hours, with a driving licence check at checkout. After every ride the charging time blocks the vehicle automatically, so you never sell an hour you don’t physically have.
Tuk-tuk rental
Tuk-tuks in variants with different numbers of seats, hired out per half day. The number of people on the booking decides which variant you need, and the licence check happens at checkout instead of at the desk.
Scooter rental
Scooters per day or per half day, with age, licence and helmet sorted before the key crosses the counter. The helmets are their own stock alongside the scooters, so you never hire out more than you have.
Boat rental
Open boats and other vessels per half day, with licence rules that differ per boat and an optional skipper. Deposit, fuel and the skipper sit as separate lines on the same booking, so the bill adds up when they return.
Entertainment and events
No fixed space but a host, a programme and usually a quote.
Company outings and packages
Requests that go through a quote rather than a basket. The option gets an expiry date, the deposit a payment term and the final numbers a deadline, and RaxBooker reminds the customer without you having to keep track.
Pub quiz, bingo and game show
Private quizzes that go through a quote, and open quiz nights you sell as tickets. A full night moves automatically to a waiting list, so a cancellation offers the place straight back out.
Karaoke
Private booths by the hour, where a group has the booth to itself. Guests can extend during the session as long as the booth is free afterwards, and a drinks package is attached to the booking rather than to the bar.
Casino night
Gaming tables with croupiers, sold per person with tiered prices that vary by group size. The croupiers and the tables are both capacity, so a night without enough staff can’t be booked online either.
GPS game and city game
A game through the city with an off-site start and finish, played in teams. RaxBooker builds the teams, keeps the locations with the booking and lets you set up a wet-weather alternative for when things go wrong.
Room hire and private screening
A function room or cinema room you hire out per part of the day, with catering on the same booking. The room is exclusively that group’s, and setting up and clearing away sit as their own time in the schedule before and after.
Arcade and amusements
Individual games and machines, where revenue comes from credit rather than time slots.
Arcade and amusements
Mostly walk-in, where booking means someone buys credit or holds a group spot. Credit, gift vouchers and that reserved spot go through the same basket, so a birthday with twenty euros per child is one transaction.
Most venues run four or five at once
Most of the questions we get aren't about a single activity, but about the combination. A group that bowls first and then does an escape room. A birthday with a session, a table and a cake. A company outing with karting, drinks and a buffet. In RaxBooker that is one booking, with one timeline, one confirmation and one bill, even when the parts follow completely different planning rules.
